gorgeous decorations

This fairy sits on top of my tree every year and I love her for more than one reason. Apart from just being soo gorgeous, she is special to me because my Grandma made the clothes, wings and halo that she wears and dressed her up to be sold at a Scout's Christmas Fayre when I was about 8 yrs old. I loved her so much that my other Grandma (Nanny) bought her for me.

And the decorations below were an absolute bargain from the Red Cross shop. £1.45 for the lot!

parcels wrapped and posted

Parcels wrapped and posted off to my Mum. I may put some of these tags in my Folksy shop, although a bit too late for Christmas ones I have some ideas for other occasions.

Had to buy a shed load of stamps today and was pleasantly surprised to find these Christmas issue stamps for sale in the local post office. Designed by Guernsey based design company twodegreesnorth

christmas packages

Haven't posted for a while as spent most of last week in bed with a cold. Which was quite nice as I read a good book - White by Rosie Thomas. However I have managed to package up the last of my Christmas cards which are now all sold (hurrah) except for a few packets still in my Folksy shop. I can also do a nice little 'parcel' of cards for those who are interested!
