This fairy sits on top of my tree every year and I love her for more than one reason. Apart from just being soo gorgeous, she is special to me because my Grandma made the clothes, wings and halo that she wears and dressed her up to be sold at a Scout's Christmas Fayre when I was about 8 yrs old. I loved her so much that my other Grandma (Nanny) bought her for me.
And the decorations below were an absolute bargain from the Red Cross shop. £1.45 for the lot!
Parcels wrapped and posted off to my Mum. I may put some of these tags in my Folksy shop, although a bit too late for Christmas ones I have some ideas for other occasions.
Had to buy a shed load of stamps today and was pleasantly surprised to find these Christmas issue stamps for sale in the local post office. Designed by Guernsey based design company twodegreesnorth
Haven't posted for a while as spent most of last week in bed with a cold. Which was quite nice as I read a good book - White by Rosie Thomas. However I have managed to package up the last of my Christmas cards which are now all sold (hurrah) except for a few packets still in my Folksy shop. I can also do a nice little 'parcel' of cards for those who are interested!
I took this picture on a recent trip to London as inspiration for a later date. I thought the silvery bark would lend itself well to a graphic pattern and judging by these other birch inspired products, I'm not alone in my thinking! In fact far from it - this was just the tip of the iceberg.
This post is especially for my friend in England (you know who you are) who will be almost beside herself that Christmas is just around the corner and has probably been doing a countdown since June. If not before.
Yes friend, it is well and truly the season to light the fire, put your fluffy socks on and curl up with a hot chocolate and a mince pie. So this little round-up of all things festive is especially for you.
These are some of my favourite Folksy picks, although there were many more...
Some of my entries for the latest Tigerprint competition. Had to work to their suggested colour palettes, although some entries seem to have gone pretty wide of this mark...
Hooray! Finally have some bits to sell in my brand, spanking NEW Folksy shop - Little Paper Gallery! So what are you waiting for - get yourselves over there.
Those are my sneakers on the 'Find Goods from New Sellers' page.
