wood store project
From this...
to this! I'd like to say I played a bigger part in this than suggesting 'we' make one and choosing the colour.
But I can't. Clever other half even slated the roof. Top marks!

yellow & grey folksy finds
This colour combo is still bringing me much delight and I keep seeing yellow everywhere. I don't know if it's the fabulous weather that makes me notice it more or if there really is a lot of it about?
Whatever it is – I LOVE it! So I've rounded up some Folksy finds that share this colour match made in heaven. And they are as follows...
1. Crown Hat by Ann Moore 2. Earrings by Grace Showers Jewellery 3. Cushion by Linen Tree 4. Print by Mrs Eliot Books 5. Linen Table Runner by Hand Print by Sima

one potato, two potato
In a bid to try something different and get away from the computer I found myself armed with some printing books and a stack of my sketchbooks to have a go at good ole potato printing. Well if it's good enough for Lotta Jansdotter, then it's good enough for me - her work is ace!
Taking inspiration from a sketched peacock feather, I got to work on a 'Romano'. Lotta's advice is that chunky designs work best.
And here are the results...
It's a bit hit and miss. I think thicker paint would have worked better although I quite liked the textured effect when using more than one colour
Lots of fun and nice to do with the sun streaming in on a glorious Spring day. Give it a go!
